There has been much anticipation regarding the release of SoundPLAN’s most powerful and advanced system to date. The dedicated team of software developers have made changes and improvements throughout the system, with key features including:
- Implementation of the new ISO 9613-2:2024.
- The 3D Graphics have been updated with latest OpenGL technology, offering more features and faster rendering.
- Transmission of sound through noise barriers.
- A new roof type, the barrel roof, has been introduced for the Industrial Building.
- Deactivation options for the industrial sources in the calculation kernel.
- Additional psychoacoustic evaluation descriptors have been added, including loudness, sharpness and tonality.
- New data import features.
- A new line band table and map to calculate and visualise noise scores, hotspots, and other statistical evaluations.
Version 9.1 can be purchased via a one-off transaction, a flexible purchase plan, or through a hire option.
Version 9.1 will come as a free upgrade from version 9.0 to customers who have U&M.
